JW Library

JW Library is the official Jehovah's Witnesses smartphone app. It offers a wealth of resources for Bible study and devotional reading for Jehovah's Witnesses.

From books to audio and video, JW Library offers a multimedia experience for Jehovah's Witnesses looking for educational material. Video streaming options include the JW Broadcasting station, live programs and events, and many videos for children and families to watch together.

Interface

The JW Library interface is easy to learn and use. It consists of several menu buttons at the top and bottom of each screen. When you swipe left or right, the screen changes along with the menu buttons. The various pages include a study Bible, a Jehovah's Witness e-book library and a multimedia page with audio and video streaming options.

On the Bible study page, JW Library offers several complete translations of the Bible in English, Greek, Aramaic and other languages. Many of the books of the Bible are offered in audio format, as well. These options are marked with a headphones icon to indicate that an audiobook version is available.

The streaming content library allows you to stream live video and download content for offline playback. By tapping one of the categories, you can see a list of related videos available for streaming. For example, the JW Broadcasting page contains past broadcasts from the Jehovah's Witness TV station.

User Experience

JW Library is one of the top-rated apps available. Users love this app and recommend it without reservation. While there aren't any consistent complaints from users, one potential shortcoming of this app is its data requirement. Downloading many translations of the Bible in audiobook format can be burdensome, and streaming can be difficult when there is no Wi-Fi network available.
