CetusPlay turns your TV into a smart multitasking powerhouse

CetusPlay is a feature-packed remote control solution designed for those who use streaming devices such as Android TV boxes, Fire TV, Chromecast and other smart TV platforms. Instead of juggling multiple physical remotes, you control everything directly from your phone, with a strong focus on flexibility, speed and extra utilities your standard remote simply can’t offer.

The standout feature is its wide variety of navigation modes. You can switch between a classic Direction-Pad, a responsive Touch Pad, full Keyboard input and even Mouse Mode for those apps that are awkward to control with arrows. When supported (for example on Fire TV with ADB debugging enabled or certain rooted devices), Mouse Mode makes navigating complex interfaces far more comfortable.

Beyond basic control, CetusPlay doubles as a casting and media management tool. It lets you beam local photos, videos and even documents like DOC, XLS, PPT and TXT straight to your TV, turning the big screen into a presentation or family album hub. The Live Channels option, which accepts local M3U playlists, is a nice bonus if you manage your own channel lists.

Performance tools are another welcome addition. A one-tap “accelerating ball” helps clear cache and trash files on compatible TV boxes, potentially speeding up sluggish systems, and quick-launch shortcuts let you open favorite TV apps instantly. You can also capture screenshots from what you’re watching and share them to social networks without leaving the couch.

There are a few caveats. Some advanced options—like scrolling and certain mouse functions—depend on plugins, rooting or specific device settings, which may intimidate less technical users. Localization is still a work in progress, so some menus feel less polished in certain languages. However, for users willing to tweak a bit, CetusPlay offers a powerful, all-in-one remote experience that significantly upgrades day-to-day TV control.
