The app covers the essentials well. It can migrate your contacts, message history, camera photos and videos, mail accounts, calendars, and even your WhatsApp content, placing each item in the appropriate app on your new iPhone or iPad. By creating a private Wi-Fi network and pairing via a one-time security code, it avoids sending your personal data through external servers, which is reassuring from a privacy standpoint.
